Pretty bold statement, so what's the catch? There is no catch. The Ethically Hip philosophy is borne out of the frustration and helplessness that millions of people experience every day. Open a newspaper or turn on the TV and you are easily overwhelmed with images of despair. Kids are dying of starvation, people are getting sick, and the environment is being destroyed without so much as a whimper from most of us. It's not that we don't care it's more a matter of not knowing how to help.
How It Works:
People make consumer choices every single day. What if money is donated to people in need every time a product is bought or sold? What if you received a tax refund for this donation? Ethically Hip takes the concept of corporate karma to a new level starting with the Real Estate Industry. Here's the deal.....
Let's think about that... Two grand to your local food bank, cancer research, or saving the environment and $1000.00 back in your jeans for doing something you were planning to do anyway! If you are buying or selling a home, why wouldn't you use an Ethically Hip Realtor? Check out our Frequently Asked Questions here.
The Real Estate industry is just the beginning. Stay tuned....
Just about any bona fide charitable organization can be part of the Ethically Hip movement including the well known standards such as the Red Cross and United Way. With over 80,000 registered non-profits in this country we want to be able to shine a light on the groups that we think are especially worthy. Many of these tend to be local or regionally specific but are nonetheless worthy of your consideration and may inspire you to look for similar groups near you. Click here to view all of the profiles.

Emergency Relief Fund - Every day we read or hear about another disaster affecting people just like us, somewhere in the world. Our reaction is immediate, that something must be done, but more often than not we are faced with the dilema of having limited resources and not knowing what to do.
Ethically Hip is donating 10% of our profits to be held in trust as a contingency fund to be used as immediate, first reaction relief funding for areas affected by natural disaster. These funds will be made available within the first few days to save lives, prevent disease and assist in the recovery and restoration work that will begin immediately. We will be appealing to large corporations to do their part by matching our contributions.
