General Contest Rules

Ethically Hip Communications Ltd. periodically runs various contests and give-aways via www.ethicallyhip.com. Terms and conditions apply. General details on the prize and entry conditions for the contest are as follows:

Contest Terms and Conditions

1. Information on how to enter the contest and the prize (set out above) ("the prize") form part of these terms and conditions.
2. Participation in the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions and any entry not complying with these terms and conditions is invalid.
3. Entry is open to Canadian residents only. Employees of the promoter, the promoter's associated companies, the promoter's agencies and the partners and sponsors associated with the competitions and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
4. The competition run dates will be specific to each contest and will be published as part of the contest details.
5. To enter the competition, participants must subscribe to the Ethically Hip daily deal email with their email address. Participants may only enter once.
6. Prizes are awarded in type and quantities as described in the particular contest details.
7. The promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
8. Any entry submitted using any form of automated device or software is invalid.
9. The promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process, for submitting an entry which is not in accordance with these terms and conditions or for any other reason it considers appropriate.
10. Competition closes on the dates and times specified in the particular contest details.
11. The promoter will contact the winner within 48 hours of the contest close time via the email address submitted with their entry. The promoter will make reasonable attempts to contact the winners. Failure to contact a winner within 3 days of selection will result in the prize being forfeited and the promoter reserves the right to select an alternate winner.
12. The promoter will courier the prize to the winner within 7 working days.
13. Prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.
14. The promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize for one of comparable type, quality and value.
15. The promoter reserves the right to vary, extend or withdraw the competition or any part of the competition at any stage, for any reason.
16. By participating in a competition, each participant consents to their name being used for public relations purposes in connection with the competition, including Twitter and Facebook.
17. The promoter is Ethically Hip Communications Ltd.
18. Winner may be required to answer a time limited, skill-testing question.
