Lately, anyone with a vehicle has certainly felt the pain of visiting your local gas station for a fill up. Most of us need a vehicle of some sort, so if you are thinking of getting a more fuel efficient car to replace that big gas guzzling SUV, don't forget that there is a federal government initiative that can help reduce the purchase cost. The ecoAUTO Rebate Program, is a performance-based program offering up to $2,000 for the purchase or long-term lease of a new fuel-efficient vehicle. Frequently Asked Questions

How do we find an Ethically Hip Realtor?

Just click on Get Hip at the top of any web page or click here to go there directly.  You will be prompted to fill in a brief form that will help us match you with an Ethically Hip agent in your area.

What if I want to designate a charity that is not profiled on ethicallyhip.com?

There are tens of thousands of registered charities in North America so we try to profile a variety of trusted agencies from  different categories. Regional and local charities such as food banks and homeless shelters can easily be overlooked but we are happy to try and accommodate your requests. You can contact us directly at 604-725-5255 or via email at info@ethicallyhip.com and we will get right on it.

Does the charity receive all of the donated funds or are there any commissions or fees deducted?

Absolutely 100% of the funds are directed to the charity. In fact, the money is held in trust by the real estate lawyer and is disbursed directly to the the charity when the real estate sale is completed. Neither the realtor nor Ethically Hip ever touch the money.

Can we choose more than one Charity to receive the donation?

Splitting up the donation amongst more than one charitable organization is perfectly acceptable providing the amounts are greater than $100.00. Another option is to designate organizations that serve many different causes. These are groups like the United Way and World Vision.

Is Ethically Hip a real estate brokerage?

No we are not a brokerage firm. In fact we encourage and support all of our member realtors regardless of what firm they are with.
